Worn Keys

Over time your locks may start to be hard to turn. If you have to lift your key to get your plug to turn there are two issues that need to be resolved. The first is the key. The key is metal and over time metal wears down. A new key cut to factory dimensions might solve the problem. The second problem is a worn cylinder. The keyway might be worn allowing sloppy movement of the key thus improper alignment of the pin tumblers. The cylinder should be replaced with a new one.
